Abstract

This study was titled the Implementation of the Role Playing Cooperative learning Model in the enhancement of student learning in the natural sciences in elementary school. This research aims to obtain empirical evidence to challenge the implementation of the role playing cooperative learning model in the enhancement of students ' learning activity in the natural sciences subjects in elementary school. The theory used was Santoso (2011) which said the role playing learning model was the process of assigning teaching materials using how to develop the imagination and feelings of learners, whose goal is to enable learners in Learning. The research method used is experimentation with qualitative and quantitative research properties of Sugiyono (2016) qualitative research is based on facts found, and quantitative is characterized by research in the form of numbers. Design research used in experimental quasi. The population in this research is all students of class V at SDN 015 Kresna Bandung in Cicendo District Bandung. The instrument used for this study is an observation sheet of students and written tests. The analysis of the data used in this research test is normality, test homogenity, Test T, and gain test. The results of the observation sheet illustrate the activity of learning learners. The results of the research that shows the role playing cooperative learning model can improve student learning activity in natural science subjects in elementary school. The statistical test shows evidence in the experimental class there is an increased learning activity seen in the T 0.000 Test.
