Abstract
This research is motivated by the problem of the low learning creativity of students in natural science subjects. This study aims to describe the use of the project based learning (PjBL) model learning to increase student’s learning creativity on single and mixed substances material in the experimental class using the project based learning model in class V Ashfiya elementary school Bandung and measure the improvement of students’learning creativity on single and mixed substance material in the experimental class better than the control class. The method used is experiment. The research was conducted at Ashfiya elementary school with 42 people, namely class VA control class and VB experiment class with the same number of samples, 21 people. This research instrument consisted of the student and teacher observation sheets to describe the project based learning modeland test instrument to measure students’creativity. Data obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed to test validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, paired sample t-test, independent t-test and gain test. The result of this study concluded, that from observations using the project based learning model has been used very well, there is an increase in the creativity of students in the experimental class and there is an increase in the creativity of students better in the experimental class compared to control class.
